Plastic Surgery & Dermatology Associates’ (PSDA) Medical Spa offers a variety of medical treatments and spa therapies in a relaxing and warm medical environment. The primary goal of our medical spa is to educate our clients on the current products and procedures that improve skin health and longevity.

Our spa is truly a medical spa intended to offer treatments based on real science under physician supervision. We think that it is important to differentiate between “feel good” interventions and effective medical products that create real results. We also realize that a little pampering can go a long way in enhancing each client’s experience. Our medical staff and skin specialists rely on a number of effective medical products to create clinical results for our patients. With these superior products and trained staff, our Medical Spa is able to treat a variety of skin conditions from acne to aging. We carry high quality and medically proven skin lines such as Obagi, SkinMedica, and Biomedic.

Our Medical Spa benefits from the supervision and expertise of both a board certified Plastic Surgeon and Dermatologist committed to maximizing the medical spa experience. Our physicians and staff offer an in depth skin analysis and utilize a number of product lines depending on the client’s particular need and desire. Our medical staff are educated, trained, and certified in all of the treatments that we offer. This ensures that all patients receive quality care and effective treatments.

Procedures and Treatments

Medical Peels

Obagi Blue Peel (TCA Peel) - the strongest of our peels for deep wrinkles and severe sun damaged skin. Skin peeling will usually occur for seven to ten days, but the treatment often provides remarkable results. These procedures are performed by Dr. James Lowe or Dr. Julie Lowe.

Aesthetic Peels

Micropeels – A number of Micropeels are available that are ideal for a special event or to maintain soft, smooth skin and to stimulate cell renewal.

Dermapeels- These are medically based microdermabrasion treatments for sun damaged and acne-prone skin. It improves the appearance of large pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Treatment can be done on face, arms and hands, back, neck and chest.

Anti-Aging Hand Treatment- These medical hand treatments are intended to take years off of your hands.

Facial Therapies

Our Medical Spa offers classic facials and advanced clinical facials which include: cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, medical therapy, and massage. Our medical spa staff can individualize the facial therapy to address your specific concerns and desires.

Cosmetics

Our Medical Spa offers and recommends a number of healthy and dermatology approved makeup options. Our staff can provide camouflage makeup that increases oxygen and protects the skin. These cosmetic lines effectively cover facial scars, deformity, or bruising after major or minor cosmetic procedures.

Laser Treatments

Plastic Surgery and Dermatology Associates has access to a number of lasers that address a variety of medical and cosmetic conditions. These lasers may be available onsite or at a nearby facility. Laser treatment therapy can be used to treat sun damage, facial veins, rosacea, and redness of skin. Our Medical Spa will offer laser treatment for hair removal and small veins.
